 Chronic Bronchitis & Emphysema

These are the two conditions under the 'umbrella' of COPD but what are the differences between the two ?

Bronchitis refers to the  bronchi (main airways) becoming infected and inflamed when this is prolonged it then becomes chronic.

Chronic bronchitis sufferers may be susceptible to Emphysema, particularly if they smoke.

Emphysema refers to damaged air sacs in the lungs

This post is open to correction, I'm no expert.
